Project Description:

The Texas Military Forces Museum Internship Program will provide paid, six-month internships that deliver hands-on workforce training in collections management, exhibit development, and daily museum operations. Grant funding will support intern stipends, ensuring emerging museum professionals gain essential real-world experience while strengthening the museum’s capacity to preserve and interpret Texas military history.

Plan on getting there early as you have to show your ID and fill out some paperwork at the Visitors Control Center to get in (you will need a driver's license, proof of insurance, and make/model/color of your car so they can provide you with a car tag).
