X-WR-CALDESC:THF members will gather at Palacios’ City by the Sea Museum on
  Friday\, June 14 to present a recent grant to the Palacios Area Historica
 l Association (PAHA). The grant supports the installation of interactive o
 ral history kiosks throughout the Museum. Since its founding in 1982\, PAH
 A has dedicated itself to preserving and sharing local history\, envisioni
 ng the City by the Sea Museum as an important repository for regional hist
 ory and arts. \n\nThe project will employ interactive digital kiosks to ca
 pture museum-goers recollections of Palacios history on subjects from the 
 City by the Sea’s expansive collections\, both for posterity and incorpora
 tion into future exhibits. The first wave of implementation will collect s
 tories on subjects including the famed La Belle Excavation\, Camp Hulen in
  WWII\, and local Vietnamese history.
