 urvive to piece together the lives of four of these citizens to tell an am
 azing tale of those commonly overlooked in Texas history.\n\nCome learn ab
 out the lives of Turner\, Celia Allen\, Joe Travis\, and Mary Marks as the
 y worked in the community and (occasionally) gained freedom from enslaveme
 nt.\n\nSpecial information will be on display in our permanent gallery and
  discussed by staff in our outdoor Villa de Austin exhibit from 9am to 4pm
 .\n\nWhile you're in town\, be sure to stop by the San Felipe festival gro
 unds (on the north side of Interstate 10) as they host their first town Ju
 neteenth celebration!\n\nHeader image includes an artist depiction of Turn
 er\, an enslaved young man working in the San Felipe de Austin print shop 
 in the 1830s. His story is one of four we will be focusing on throughout t
 he day.
