Our Funding Programs

QUARTERLY MICRO GRANTS

Texas Historical Foundation's Quarterly Micro Grants Program is an open-submission process that seeks to augment or seed historic preservation efforts at the community level. THF considers applications from eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofits for funding up to $8,000.

We are excited to introduce our new THF Grants Portal and a new streamlined model for Quarterly Micro Grants in the Summer 2025 cycle. Prospective applicants are invited to create a THF Grants Portal account to submit a letter of inquiry (LOI) for consideration.

LOIs are considered on a quarterly basis at the dates below:

CYCLE LOI DEADLINE RESPONSE ISSUED
Summer 2025 April 22, 2025 First week of May
Fall 2025 August 15, 2025 First week of September
Winter 2025-2026 October 15, 2025 First week of November
Spring 2026 January 15, 2026 First week of February

LOI proposals are accepted until midnight CT on the deadline date; LOIs submitted after that time automatically roll over to the next funding cycle. All LOI submissions will receive responses at the timeline above, with selected proposals invited to complete an application at that time. Funding will be awarded:
