The Texas Historical Foundation is currently accepting requests for the Fall 2024 funding cycle with a deadline of September 1, 2024. 

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ: 

Before you begin the form below, it will be necessary to complete the THF Grant Application PDF (available for download here) and gather the supporting documents listed on its cover page. We strongly encourage applicants have completed the Application PDF and compiled required supporting documentation prior to filling out the submission form below in order to avoid navigating away from the form until the submission is complete.  

Hard copy applications and email submissions are no longer accepted for quarterly grants applications. Please use the form below to submit your completed application and supporting documents. Submissions are due by 5:00 p.m. CT on the deadline date (complete list of submission deadlines available here).

B. Grant Contact

In this section, provide information for the person in your organization who will be the primary point of contact for the application process. 

What is the primary contact's role within the organization?

C. Project Overview

Provide introductory information about the project to which granted funds will be applied. 

Select the category that most closely describes the project to which funds will be applied.
Provide a brief, two-sentence summary of the project for which you are applying for funding.
Rural Project?
Select "Yes" if the project is taking place in or primarily benefits a city or county with a population of 30,000 or less. If not, skip this item.
Provide an estimate of total project cost, including the requested funding.
Name the dollar amount being requested from THF for use in this project.
Provide an estimated project completion date using MM/DD/YYYY format. Should you wish to provide more context, please do so in the application or timeline detail attachment.

Section 3 - Supporting Documents 

Attach the required supporting documents to complete your grant application.

1. Proof of 501(c)(3) status
2. List of current officers & directors
3. Project timeline
4. Budgets from current or preceding year
5. Project budget detail
6. Recent audit or profit & loss statement

Please attach up to 5 photos depicting your project or organization. Photos are required for architectural projects. If applying or an architectural grant, please send pertinent photographs of all exterior sides (elevations) of the structure or relevant interior photos of the proposed work area. Photos should be in JPEG, PNG, or PDF format. If using PDF format, please include all images in a single document with no more than two photos per page.
