What's the difference between the Member Portal and Grants Portal?
- The Member Portal offers them a way to manage their memberships and access perks online. Members are the generous individuals, families, businesses, and history institutions that support Texas Historical Foundation's work with annual dues.
- The Grants Portal allows potential and existing THF grantee organizations to prepare and submit grant applications, manage their past grant awards, and view funding opportunities.
While eligible THF Member institutions are welcome to apply for THF grants, our Member Portal and Grants Portal are not linked at this time. You will need a separate account to access each.

I'm not sure if I have a THF membership, how do I find out?

Members are a network of history enthusiasts across the state supporting Texas Historical Foundation's mission to preserve the Lone Star past for future generations.

I'm a member who also wants to submit a grant application. How does that work?
We welcome grant applications from our institutional members! To find out if your organization and project are compatible with upcoming THF grant opportunities, visit our Funding Opportunities homepage.
After checking eligibility, you will need to create an account for your organization in the THF Grants Portal or log in to an existing one to prepare and submit an application.
Because membership is appreciated but not required to apply for a grant, it does not automatically create an account in the THF Grants Portal or vice versa.
