THF Grant Presentation, Texas Center at Schreiner, Kerrville
The Texas Historical Foundation grant presentation for the Texas Center at Schreiner University will take place Tuesday, July 5 at 1:30 p.m. in Kerrville, TX. The event will be held on the Schreiner campus at 2100 Memorial Blvd (attendees should use the Memorial Dr. entrance and look for the third building on the right.)
This recent grant for $5,000 was awarded from the Jack R. Wahlquist Director's Endowment to the Texas Center to fund the purchase of upgraded A.V. equipment to produce high-quality content to further promote education and engagement with Texas History. Previous videos produced by the Texas Center exposed an audience hungry for cinematic history programming, spurring on the project. The content will support Texas curriculum project E Pluribus, Texas, and is designed for use in schools across the state in addition to being available to the public across multiple social media platforms.
