Korean War Memorial Unveiling, Galveston
A new Korean War Memorial honoring the 51 men from Galveston County killed in the conflict will be unveiled at Anico Plaza (20th Street between Mechanic/Market Streets) in Galveston on September 16 at 10:00 a.m. This date was chosen because of its association with the Inchon Landing launched against the North Koreans on September 15, 1950.
