THF Grant Presentation, Flower Hill Foundation, Austin
THF director Frank de la Teja has organized a presentation of THF's grant to Flower Hill Foundation for their work at Austin's Urban Homestead Museum. The project centers around ongoing rehabilitation work at the 1877 Smoot family mansion, part of preparations to further open the house to the public.
The house is one of several historic structures on the property, and was the primary dwelling of the prominent and civically-minded Smoot family as they occupied the homestead continuously for generations.
