Enjoy a creative entwining of Art, Music & History at Vision Historic Preservation Foundation’s Heritage Celebration at The 1895 during Rockdale's 150th Birthday at which we will celebrate Rockdale’s accomplishments and cultural contributions.
> Themed Mural Panels by Artist Cody Seigmund featuring: Rockdale Musicians | Rockdale Cowboys | El Camino Real & the Tonkawa's Red Mountain | Alcoa’s Goddess of Liberty | Rockdale’s Astronaut & Alcoa’s Fueling of the Space Program | Hispanic Heritage. Murals will be complemented by Historical Essays telling the stories behind the people and events featured.
> Live Music will pay tribute to our community’s spirit, culture and creativity.
Performances by: 11AM - Mercy Lane (Tejano), 12PM - Scott D Taylor Band (Blues), 2PM - Los Tres Martinez (Mariachi), and 3:30PM - Robert Lawhon & Triple Threat (Country/Rock)
