THF Grant Presentation: Documentary Arts, Inc.
Documentary Arts, Inc. will use its grant for an album of song covers showcasing the work of legendary Deep Ellum musicians, including blues pioneers Blind Lemon Jefferson and Blind Willie Johnson. Local and national contemporary musicians will perform renditions of the songs that have shaped popular American music for generations.
