THC Undertold Markers Presentation (Online)

Whether commemorating significant sites, epic events, or important individuals, Official Texas Historical Markers have been promoting and preserving the real stories of Texas for decades.
Yet there are still underrepresented stories that should be better known. On September 4, from 6–7:30 p.m., join the staff of the THC’s Historical Marker Program to learn more about the Undertold Markers initiative.
Our presenters will share examples of some of the topics that might make you say “I’ve never heard of that before!” Is there an undertold story in your community? Our presenters will also walk you through the application process just in time for the next application round starting in October.
