Project Description:
The Museum of the West Texas Frontier offers free, TEKS-based in-class history and socials studies lessons and structured field trips for rural Title 1 West Texas schools, focusing on local and state history, filling a critical gap in education. Led by a certified teacher, programs span Pre-K to 12th grade and include partnerships with other entities such as the National Ranching Heritage Center's Hank the Cowdog and traveling history exhibits.
